Re: Richmond c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016 Cycle)
The scholarships are pretty average. I had a 3.52 gpa and 158 LSAT and I got fifteen, everyone in a similar Bracket got the same. I know a girl who got a 160 and a 3.8 and her scholly is twenty-five.

I was accepted via phone call by the dean Sunday night (Dec 20). I was a little surprised at the timing of it, but I guess they may still be accepting a few people before Christmas. Good luck!

Applied Mid-January. Got the "in" call from the dean late last Saturday night. Very quick turn around.

Congratulations! What's your LSAT/GPA? Trying to get an idea of where my app may stand.WaitWaitDontSay wrote:Applied Mid-January. Got the "in" call from the dean late last Saturday night. Very quick turn around.

Does anyone know how Richmond sends decisions other than acceptances? I thought they did it by letter, but I've yet to hear one way or the other!

Anyone know when they send out scholarship info? Dean Rahman mentioned it when I talked to her but I forgot

They called in early April (first notification) on a Sunday night. They told me about my scholarship offer then.

In with 2.8 GPA and 163 LSAT with "substantial scholarship" to be announced in March. Hope this helps you gauge where you are.

Checking in! Applied early November, and have yet to hear one way or the other. Called the admissions office and was told my file was in review with the committee. Does anyone know when Richmond normally sends their decisions by?

I'm currently on the waitlist... any chance for a minimal scholarship if accepted (~10,000)?

I called Admissions and asked about the status of my application. They said I would get a decision in a week or so.

Can anyone comment on Richmond's admission process? From everything I've read, it appears to be random. I applied early binding and my application, according to the school, is still in review. I guess I thought/hoped that they'd put more weight on those who apply early binding seeing as it is their first choice. What's the hold up?!
Thanks.
Thanks.

Current first year student at Richmond. I haven't met anyone who was accepted from the waitlist AND received a scholarship. As a matter of fact, the handful of people I know that got in off the waitlist are attending at sticker with no external scholarships eithernicolelaine wrote:I'm currently on the waitlist... any chance for a minimal scholarship if accepted (~10,000)?

Does anyone have any statistics regarding the priority waitlist? And whether there is a chance of scholarship off this list?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
