Traveling out of the country while riding the waitlist???

Post by Drowninmyowntears » Sun Jun 07, 2015 2:54 pm

Hey there! I'm riding the WL for UCLA but will be out of the country without cell phone service for one week immediately following their second deposit deadline. I will have access to email. Should I call them and arrange to have someone else be contacted on my behalf if I get off the WL? Is that too ridiculous to do if I'm only gone for one week? Does that make me look to presumptuous about getting off the WL? I just feel like that will be my prime window of opportunity to get off the WL, and I don't want to miss my chance by seeming unresponsive if they do contact me!!!!!

Thanks!!

Change your voicemail message to say you're out of the country and can be reached via email.

UCLA will always email you first to schedule 1/2 interview(s)
if you've interviewed already then yeah you should leave a voicemail
