Based on last year's thread, first movement started 5/7 and ended around 5/15.

What do y'all mean that your status changed? Did your status change to something like "loci received?" I sent one last week but my status is still "confirmed on the waitlist." Thanks!

Do you guys actually think adcoms read LOCIs? I've sent them to NYU and others I'm WL'ed for, but I read somewhere in last year's NYU WL thread that someone called and asked. Whenever they confirm, it's been added to your file, it just means that if they feel like re-reviewing you as an applicant, they will then read them. Thoughts? Are we all doomed? (unless you are what they are looking for?)

Does it show that your loci has been added? Or did you just get an email conf

It doesn't show the letter, and I didn't get an email confirmation. I included my wait list confirmation in the body of my LOCI, though, so I know they have it if they have my wait list confirmation.

Finally got a confirmation email ~5 days after it showed up on the status checker. The "NYU Law Notification" subject line in my inbox gave me a start though when it showed up on my phone.

Same, although my status checker had updated and it was a lot longer than 5 days. Really made me miss a few heart beats.

"For I am now ready to get your offer, and the plane ticket to NYC is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my undergraduate course, I have kept my faith in NYU. Yes, absolutely. You should unequivocally use this in your loci. In fact, you should adopt that style throughout your loci.
