Re: Harvard Law School c/o 2018 Waitlist
JS2 about an hour ago!!! Absolutely freaking out... not sure if it's real yet
First off, good luck to everyone waiting! Hopefully the following info will bring some optimism... I obviously don't know what the normal length of a JS2 call is, but mine was longer than I would've expected (4-6 minutes) because of the way they combined the JS1b stuff and the JS2. I would like to think this means that it's taking them longer to get out all of the acceptances, so hopefully we've still got a lot more to go.
Other stuff: I'm on the East coast, LSAT around 25, GPA around 75
Again, best of luck to everyone still waiting!

I have done nothing but stare intently at my phone, click refresh here, and intermittently scream.

I ABSOLUTELY REFUSE to believe that only 1 TLSer from the Post-WL JS1 group got in? Nope. Denial. Flat out denial.

UGGGHHHHH. I just looked at last year's spreadsheet. I totally forgot there were two waves of acceptances for those who interviewed in the first post-WL batch. There were a couple on the 15th of May, then more on the 27th.
Please, Harvard. Please. Please don't make me wait another 12 days. My stomach lining can't handle it. Either let me in, or give me a Ned Stark-style ending. Just make it quick.

I think we're just going to have to accept that we are Sansa. Ever tortured.

Long, long time lurker here. Post wait-list JS1 who has not gotten a JS2 despite hours of attempted jedi mind tricks on my phone, "Ring you will." Here's hoping for a post wait-list JS2 wave tomorrow or Friday and that most of our apps haven't gotten back from faculty review yet.

Re: Harvard Law School c/o 2018 Waitlist
Pre WL JS1 here (GPA 50th, LSAT 25th). Got a call from a Cambridge number this morning. It went to voicemail and I called back just a few minutes ago.
Jess asked me what my plans are for next year and I told her I'm going to Chi on a half scholly and that I'm on the fence about Harvard because of financial reasons. Jess told me to take a look at the financial aid info on the H website to get a ballpark estimate and to get back to her as soon as possible regarding whether I would be comfortable going to a need based system of financial aid. I distinctly remember her saying that "a waitlist offer from Harvard is the end of the conversation, not the beginning of the conversation."
I have a sneaking suspicion that if I had said I was sold on H, I would've gotten an offer (based on her words/tone and what has been posted in this thread) but I didn't feel comfortable stating that I had no reservations about enrolling when that's not the case.

OH MY GOD. I haven't had a chance to watch this week's episode. My fiancee told me something bad happened to a character but said he wasn't going to tell me so I could watch it. So now today I haven't gotten into Harvard so far AND this week's episode is spoiled. You're in trouble.
