Is this what is going on in this thread?
Accepted 7/22

Denied 1/22
Pending 10/22
I got into one of my top choices really early so I applied to a ton of semi-reach schools to see what happened haha

Still no cause to check in here, but I was going through last year's thread in anticipation of it and found this:
http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 2&t=225363
For some schools WL actually looks like pretty decent news! A lot of them have higher acceptance rates for applicants off the WL on LSN than from RD.

Re: Waitlist Championships- class of 2018
^^ thx for finding that
---------------------
To summarize the last three pages really quickly:
svx is winning this WL championship games at the moment at 7 WLs--I'm not sure whether we shld be celebrating you or giving you a hug (btw, which district?)
Second place, a 4-way tie btwn (5 WLs)
District 1: Splitters (wichita)
District 2: Reverse Splitters (me)
District 5: below both (weaver32, terrier)
My cycle is half over, so I might have a shot at hitting 7 or 8 WL (although I don't want to admit this)

Re: Waitlist Championships- class of 2018
What is UCLA's stance on coming off of the waitlist? Since I was admitted to higher ranked programs (both out of state), I withdrew my application so that someone who really had their eyes set on UCLA would have a better shot.Drowninmyowntears wrote:4/9 Accepted

Low LSAT, high GPA, so district 2 I believe? And if count the Cornell Reserve, that will be 8 WLsLawsRUs wrote:^^ thx for finding that

Thank you! So considerate of you . I'm not sure how UCLA uses its waitlist but I think we still have a good shot! I hear that UCLA Waitlists a lot of students, many who outright get accepted to better schools (like yourself). I think it's mainly a YP thing to make sure they are really getting students who want to go to UCLA no matter what. I was reading past threads from UCLA waitlist and most people who get off the waitlist have an "interview" where they are basically asked "if we accept you, will you matriculate here?"
