WUSTL Interview

I received an e-mail from WUSTL requesting that I have an interview with them after submitting my application 5 days ago. I am 4 points above their 75th LSAT and right around their median GPA so I am expecting to get some scholarship from them. I was wondering if anyone else had an interview with them that are also in the same situation. Did they really ask you questions about yourself, as I have heard that they are more likely to try and "sell" you to come to their school.

Yes they sell the school and as long as you do your research beyond the typical wikipedia or superficial "oh class size lels" you have an almost guaranteed spot.

For some people, they might sound like salespeople. For others, they might not.. You can never know, so might as well be very prepared yo--
Basically if you can talk about yourself and WUSTL for 15-20 minutes without any awkward pauses, you are okay.
If you can answer the Qs that scotti posted here,
http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 7&t=233695, without sounding like a monkey, you are okay.
If you have questions for your interviewer at the end of the convo, you're also okay.
I wouldn't sweat it really. Very chill interview. It's like talking to a relative; I imagine like this:
- "So grandma, I decided to go to law school."
- "O really, why law?"
- "Because XYZ."
- "I see, why WUSTL?"
- "Because ABC."
If you're oos, be prepared to be persuasive about that you'd be okay with being oos if admitted to WUSTL.
Good luck!!

Interview is super straight-forward / laid back. Standard questions (tell us about yourself, why law, why WUSTL, more detail about resume stuff), and then they give you time to ask questions about the school / St. Louis.
