Hi everyone,

Definitely applying in a few days.
Very excited for this school.
previous work with an IT giant here in my area. Currently working in finance; the department I am part of is heavy in IT.
Already have a bro in Cali, who is also an attorney, so I will not be totally alone if I get in and choose to go.

Nice to 'meet' - I don't have an attorney in my family, nor do I want to do IP law, but it is the school I qualify for most (safety). I think it is a great school.

Man they are really fast. Application Receipt: 1/1, Application Complete Email: 1/3, "In Committee": 1/3. Fingers crossed! Also noticed, 1st Deposit, Second Deposit, and Seat Deposit on the bottom left hand corner.

Applied back in October and got accepted not even two days later and got some scholarship info a few weeks later. I was definitely not expecting to hear back so quickly!

Sent an application 12/4 and was accepted 12/11. Decent scholarship makes this the most convenient option (I live 10 min from school), so I will probably attend unless one of those schools I had no business applying to mistakenly lets me in.

Congratulations! Did you get an email or did they change your online tracker?PrizeFighter wrote:Sent an application 12/4 and was accepted 12/11. Do you mind sharing your stats? I live like 20 minutes from the school so hoping for it!

I got an email first, and I then went and saw my online status had changed. I got a letter a few days later with scholly info and a packet a few days after that with more detail on the scholly. The amount mentioned in the first letter turned out to be an annual amount, so I was happy about that.
I am also PrizeFighter on law school numbers, so you can see my numbers and other stuff there. Good luck!

I got in per status checker yesterday. It said admitted at about 6 pm. I went complete only the 4th! Super fast! Then I got an email w invite to Facebook group as well as email from the assistant dean of academic affairs. I will schedule another tour and attend a class and get excited about going there. Waiting for the letter in the mail in hopes of some $
- see you soon maybe

I've gotten some more compelling offers from other places. SCU would have to be a full ride with no stips to do it for me. Their job numbers and scholarship retention rates are a little concerning. Regardless, I still think it is a great school, especially if you want to do IP or PI.miamiri wrote:Do you mind telling why you are withdrawing?cal2013 wrote:Going to withdraw, so my $$$ is going back into the pot.
