I am in and planning on attending. Does anyone have any insight on where to live? Or is anyone planning on attending and looking for a roommate? I'm from Texas and I go to school in Alabama. I don't know anyone in the Phoenix area, so this whole finding a place to live thing is hard.

I have been accepted and plan on attending! Anyone know if there is a FB group for accepted students? I've tried to find one, no luck.

Has anyone received scholarship info after receiving the admission packet, or has it always come with the packet?

It came with the packet- mine was slipped in the folder pocket in a letter size envelope marked "Scholarship"

To any current/former students out there--any "must do" activities that you'd recommend for a visiting student? Thanks!

I want to go here so bad for the weather/lifestyle, but I don't think its the long-term smart decision for me. :(

Why do you think it would not be a smart decision in the long-term? Location? Lack of established connections in the area? Financials?

I'm probably not going to ASU just because my family doesn't want to move there, however it is like the 6th largest city in the US

If you're outdoorsy, go for a hike! It should be really, really nice this time of year. I'd recommend Camelback mountain or Piestewa Peak, but you could also hike "A" mountain and get a birds-eye view of the ASU campus.

Decided yesterday I'll be attending ASU in the fall. Graduating from its southern rival, U of A, this spring, but I grew up in Phoenix so if anyone has any questions about the area or Arizona in general feel free to PM me! Ill also be attending ASW.

I will be attending ASU Law in the Fall and am from way out of state. I am trying to figure out my housing situation next year and was wondering how law students usually pick housing. Do they typically just find a graduate student looking for housing on ASU's housing facebook group or on craiglists? Or how did other out of state people find their housing their first year of law school.

I'm not attending forsure, but maybe someone that is should make a facebook group to help with housing/getting to know people.

How long did it take you guys to get your scholarship info after you got accepted? I would really like to go here but I can't consider it unless some $$ is involved (out of state tuition -- yikes).

True, but unless your goal is to work for a big firm, then a smaller market might work just as well. Remember in NYC and Chicago you probably have the same % of people competing for jobs because although the market is bigger, so is the number of lawyers.

Scholarship offer came today with 30k the first year, 20k the second. Ahh the choices... Nothing about the third year though :/ can't decide if it's worth it or not but I do love Arizona. Has anyone had success negotiating scholarships with them?
