Thanks! The deposit isn't refundable, is it?

Non-refundable. But if you do matriculate it will be counted toward fall tuition.cafecreme15 wrote:Gray wrote:Yeah just send a normal withdrawal email.mohdban wrote:It's kosher.cafecreme15 wrote:Does anyone know anything about withdrawing once a deposit has already been submitted? How long does it usually take to receive the acceptance package?

Did anyone else get their merit award randomly bumped?

I didn't deposit and had a previous award...they sent me a letter yesterday offering me another opportunity to deposit and doubled my original offer. Wonder what's going on!

Same. 50% scholarship to PT program with 1 week to decide. Wondering if they didn't hit their medians/class size.smiles123 wrote:^Yep, also didn't deposit and recieved unsolicited bump.

Hey all,
How do I go about withdrawing from GW? I don't see any formal instructions on the Admitted Student Portal. Do I just e-mail the Admissions Office and say I will not be enrolling?
Thanks!

GW student who finished 1L a couple of weeks ago - more than happy to take Qs discussing the good (and the bad) if you'd like to PM me. It is a great school to go to (if the $$$'s right) --- good luck to those who are still WL'd!
Also, they keep wildly increasing the incoming class size, so if you are dead set on attending, prepare for the effects of that.
