I received scholarship information last Friday. Per the terms of my email, however, I've been asked not to share details.

I'm ED and yesterday morning my status had changed to in review. Hoping we'll hear before the 15th.

Has anyone who got deferred from ED heard anything yet? I was told I should hear in 6-8 weeks an it's been 8 so just curious.

Accepted today. 159/2.82, NY resident. One strong LOR from a UW-Madison Law alumna, ok but interesting work experience/soft.

Sent on 1/02, waited for about a month and then was invited to a skype interview on 2/10. Interview questions were quite common and nothing too specific. They started with "why law school" and "why UW-Madison", then followed education history/backgrounds/interest and activities. The whole interview took about 15 minutes and both of the interviewer were really nice.

Feel free to PM for more details.

I'm visiting Madison weekend of March 19-22. Anybody know where bar review will be that Thursday? I'd like to check it out during my visit.

Has anyone had luck negotiating yet this/any cycle? Haven't heard much about Wisconsin in regards to this on TLS. According to LSN, it looks like Wisco is pretty stingy, but even after factoring that in they still low-balled me pretty hard looking at what other people with worse numbers received. I was going to begin with them on my negotiation emails, but first wanted to see if they are even open to it or ever budge from these low amounts. Thanks!

They will negotiate! I actually negotiated an offer up from about 16/yr to 22/year with a strong scholarship from Iowa. I believe if you contact D Wampole and ask about negotiation that you will be successful in at least getting it considered.

Would anyone mind sharing their scholly info, or at the very least PMing it to me? Planning on applying to UW Madison next year as a safety. I'm a non-resident but I spend a lot of time in Madison as my girlfriend attends undergrad there. One of my favorite cities in the world, and it's very likely that I end up living there long term. I'm slightly worried to have this as a safety though, as I've heard on numerous occasions that they're stingy with $.
