I didn't either, but I was also in communication with Dean Cavallari a day or so before the deadline. I told her then that I was still interested.

Nope. Surprising news given the update was less than a week ago. It sounds like you're under top consideration if they decide to use the WL.

We will email or call you seeking information as to your current situation. If we are able to extend an offer of admission to you, we will call you.

and the wait continues... I called W&M last week and asked Dean Cavallari how many people the waitlist shrunk down to (after the May1st deadline) but she did not give me a straight answer, just reiterated that the waitlist started out with 1000 students (so they'll have plenty of room to pick and choose from it)

Status Update- May 27, 2014

We have admitted a small number of students from the waitlist for admission to William & Mary Law School. There may continue to be changes to the class over the next two months, so we will keep an active waitlist throughout the summer and will look toward the waitlist if spaces become available in the Class of 2017. At this time, however, we continue to have deposits to fill our class.

Anyone have any word on exactly how many WLers were offered admission?

Good afternoon!
When you were placed on the waitlist for admission to William & Mary Law School, we indicated that we would provide a status update on the waitlist in June. There has been some movement on the waitlist; we admitted a group of students following our May 1 deposit deadline.
At present, Class of 2017 is full, but this may change. As a result, we will continue to maintain an active waitlist throughout the summer and provide bimonthly status updates. Unfortunately, it is difficult to predict the number of spaces, if any, that will become available. Please let us know if you have elected to enroll in another law school and wish to withdraw.
