Got my no yesterday, about a week after my request. I should note it was only after responding to the check in email we got.

I got an email gauging my interest and asking up until which date I would like to remain on the wait list. Did everyone get one of those? Got it on May 28th

Yep. If you peek back in the thread on the 28th, a few people brought it up.

Everyone on the waitlist received the email.

"We will this week be sending an email to everyone on the waitlist to assess their level of ongoing interest. We expect that will result in a narrowing of the waitlist pool, as some people will have made firm plans at another law school. Meanwhile, due to a great deal of waitlist activity at some peer schools, we have begun contacting some candidates to discuss the possibility of admission; we anticipate making up to ten offers.

We will continue to update this page regularly with information about our plans and progress, and you should feel free to provide our office with any additional information you think would be useful. We very much appreciate your patience. As always, you are welcome to contact us with any questions by email to law.jd.admissions@umich.edu or by telephone at 734.764.0537."

It looks like someone on LSN was accepted off the waitlist today. Has anyone received an offer or info on the offers being given out?

Two questions:
1. How long has the information about extending up to 10 offers been on the WL page?
2. Do they mean 10 offers total, or 10 offers within the immediate time frame?

1) That has been up since the mass-email date. End of May?
2) They may make UP TO 10 offers, so they could make less than 10. This is what they are anticipating, but this could change, since waitlists are uncertainties.

Thanks! Now I'm curious to know how many offers have been extended. Although I guess there's no real way to determine this. I know that the second deposit just came due, so I wonder how this will affect things?

There will likely be a few more spots open up later in the summer, but 5 offers in the next week is fewer than I was hoping.
