Just a heads-up, dings started on a Tuesday last year.

Is it likely that there will be more good news for those still on the wait list or should we just assume that it's game over?

I've read on tls that Harvard is looking to pull less heavily from their wait list this year (though I must admit I don't know how much truth there is to that contention)

Hi All,

I wouldn't lose hope just yet. A few (slightly) promising indicators:

1. Facebook HLS Class of 2017 is currently at 585 members. 2016 and 2014 are at 652 and 637, respectively.

2. The number of 2013-2014 LSN "WL-->Accepted" members is 11, and the 2012-2013 number is 26.

I think acceptances are winding down, but there might be some spots left.

It actually looks like there was another small-ish wave of acceptances earlier this week, judging by the FB group, so the big wave last week almost certainly wasn't the last wave.

It actually looks like there was another small-ish wave of acceptances earlier this week, judging by the FB group, so the big wave last week almost certainly wasn't the last wave.

At the very worst, there will be people who get off of other waitlists/drop out for various reasons and so a small trickle of accepts will happen even if ( as I would guess) there won't be any more waves.

Yes, just 24 hours. Harvard doesn't require a deposit.

Everyone, as far as I know, but I am a WL admit. I think they still charge you the fee but just add it to your student bill at the beginning of the semester.

So... so far there have been JS2s every two weeks or so and no WL--> ding. Does it not seem like they admitting a lot of people off the waitlist? Also, Am I right in thinking that last year the first WL-->ding was reported at the end of May?
