Just got this from Admissions office:
We certainly sympathize with your situation concerning your urgency in receiving a final decision from UT Law, but unfortunately, we cannot give you any specific information when that might occur. There has been incremental movement on our waitlist (applicants receiving admission offers) but I cannot give you any time frame how long this will continue. Our waitlist is not ranked. We understand that waitlist candidates may pursue other offers at this time, and encourage you to do what is best for you.

Yes, That is correct. I sent them an email yesterday with questions, and they replied this morning.
Good news is they are offering admission from the wait list at this time, so they claim.
Bad news is I did not receive one of those offers.

Here is mine,
Thank you for all your correspondence and your continued interest in UT School of Law. We appreciate your strong support and letters, which are reviewed by the Admissions Committee members as they are received. There is a sufficient numbers of documents in your file and there is no need to continue submitting more material for review.

The Admissions & Financial Aid Offices at The University of Texas School of Law will be closed starting Wednesday, May 21 through Friday, May 30. We will be responding to emails from now until May 20, but starting May 21, we will not have access to phones or computers.
Please do not schedule a visit to the law school during this time as Townes Hall will be undergoing renovations. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
UT Law
Admissions Staff
So, NO MOVEMENT BEFORE MAY 30TH. Susan reply every Email I send to the school admission office, so I begin to write like Dear Susan instead of Dear Sir/Madam. All I have is patience. All about my application is time!!!!!!!

I will be removing myself from the UT wait list this week. On Friday I was offered a full ride to the University of Houston and I am going to accept this offer. Good luck to those who will be waiting it out this summer; you now have one less person to compete with!

The letter of intent for admitted students isn't due until June 5th, so I would not expect any movement until after that.
Hope this helps quell any worries you guys may have.

Re: Texas c/o Waitlists (2013-2014 cycle)
Got this this morning:
Anyone else?Earlier this spring, you accepted our offer to be placed on the waitlist for our 2014 entering class. In light of the number of admitted students who have made enrollment deposits, the Admissions Committee has decided not to extend additional offers at this time.
The Admissions Committee will continue to monitor the status of the entering class and update you on a monthly basis. As long as the waitlist remains active, there is a possibility that additional admission offers will be made. If you wish to be removed from the waitlist, please send an email to admissions@law.utexas.edu.
I regret this letter does not bring more favorable news, but I want to assure you that we will keep you apprised of your status throughout the summer.
Respectfully,
Monica Ingram
Assistant Dean for Admission and Financial Aid
The University of Texas School of Law

Hey, everyone. I got the call yesterday, and i'm in!
I was a pretty traditional splitter (LSAT > 75%, GPA < 25%), but you can pm me for specific stats.
Good luck!

i'm pretty sure they are still looking at WL now coz they haven't responded about scholarship increase yet. They said they need more time to finalize everything, though 6/5 just passed..

Did you submit your scholarship matching request after the deadline? That may be why they've not responded.kobe1020 wrote:i'm pretty sure they are still looking at WL now coz they haven't responded about scholarship increase yet. Either last week or week before, the building with Admissions in it was closed for replacement of the AC system, FYI.
