Just got an e-mail saying they're planning on accepting about 20 more people throughout the summer and will send another update in mid-July. Seems promising!

What I want to know is HOW MANY are ON the waitlist still? 200? 300? But congrats on getting off (I would say "no pun intended," but I know a pun is there, and I kept the pun in anyway).

I could've sworn I posted here but I can't seem to find it. Still riding this list out, sent two LOCIs and will be sscheduling an informal meeting once I'm done with work related obligations. I'm still excited about 20 potential offers (even if the wait list is about 300)

Edited based on recent updates to LSN stats:

wait list accepts: 5 (3.7% accepted so far of those remaining on wait list, 5.8% in last three years = 3 more expected, 2.5% chance)
wait list rejected: 9
wait list self-removal: 83
wait list remaining: 121
splitter wait list remaining: 50
splitter wait list accepted: 2 (3.6% over last three years = 0 more expected, 0% chance)

I got a call earlier this afternoon asking if I was still interested in attending Penn. I'm going to have a longer conversation with them over Skype tomorrow (I'm actually away looking for apartments in Nashville at the moment). From my short conversation, they appear to be making quite a few admissions off the waitlist in the near future. Hope this is helpful!

This is very interesting! If it's not too much to ask, do you mind letting us know how it went and if you learned anything more from whoever you spoke to? If it's too personal though then don't worry about it.

I got in!!!! Basically the Skype interviewer asked me why Penn and wanted to know where I had deposited and if I was still on any other waitlists. They said that they planned on making a few more admission offers between now and August. I had my interview Thursday morning, a representative from the financial aid office called that afternoon letting me know I'd be admitted and what they planned on offering me, and I received a formal letter via email today. She also indicated that they planned on making a few more offers but already had a couple people in mind.
