Got an email last night adivsing some spots on the waitlist were opening up for the part time program, and asking for us to respond indicating if we would accept an offer if given one. Anyone else on here get the same?

I originally applied PT, and indicated that I'm only interested in PT. But I think you're remembering correctly- they did ask what your first and second choices were. So maybe that's why I got the email and you didn't because clearly PT is my first choice.

I've been on it and didn't receive that e-mail. Maybe they sent one with the intentions on making you an offer! Just out of curiosity, did you previously check the part-time program as an option on your initial application? I can't remember if it was Brooklyn's app that had applicants order their program options 1st choice, 2nd choice, etc. Either way, I guess it's a good thing to start thinking about for applicants in case they find themselves in the same situation.. Thanks for the info!

I am just curious, did most you already submit your housing applications?

I am looking at the housing options, it's reasonably priced.

Got an email this morning extending an offer off of the waitlist, advising that there will be no merit scholarship. Anyone else? I don't think I can accept without a scholly.

Was accepted on the 22nd, found out three days later I had a 28k/year scholarship. Negotiated with them to increase it to 40k/year. 158 LSAT and 3.5 GPA.

Good luck to everyone else to still waiting to hear back or get more scholly money.
wow....and they told me they don't negotiate, basically.

Would you mind PM'ing me what you told them? Thanks if so.

I tried to negotiate up from 28k and got a similar response. If you don't mind could you PM me the letter you sent as well?

Also got the 28k to 40k increase on Friday. Seems like now is the time for negotiations. Best of luck to all.

From the Spring issue of "BLS LawNotes"

"as a seven-week course administered in the summer
to a select group of incoming students of minority backgrounds
and/or non-traditional academic paths"

If any of you are interested, pm me ill share my facebook link and I can add you guys so I can create the group. If not i'll just add one of my friend in for the sake of creating the group and delete him/her after.

No idea about you guys, but my year (class of 2015) got apartment assignments in mid-May and roommate info (name and e-mail address) in mid/late June before 1L.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
