Were you on pref wait list or the special group within pref wait list?

My exact language was "As we mentioned earlier though, you are in a group of people that we
will turn to first if space is available."

Preferred WL, sent LOCI a few weeks back.

Will hear back in early June like the rest.

Also in the "group we will turn to first if space becomes available" cohort. Group interview in Oct, preferred WL, sent in two LOCIs, two additional LORs, updated resume, and updated transcript.

Congrats to the admits!

Darn, I was hoping my epic LOCI was enough to bump me from RL to PWL. Looks like the pecking order is pretty much established.

I really hope I can stay on the WL until June 15th...well June 16th really.

Also +1, AND is everyone who got A) an acceptance or B) the "you're at the top of our list" email today from the preferred wait-list or are some of you regular wait-listed?

Thanks!
I got "top of our list" from the regular wait list

Nice. Were you on the preferred? Did you interview?
I was on the preferred and I did not interview after being placed on the waitlist. I had an alumni interview in February.

Congrats!

Looks like this first round they filled up with only PWLers, and are hoping too again with the "top of the list" line which would make sense given the preferred nature of the PWL.

I guess us regulars just need to hope for a ton more movement between now and June and then in June to July.

Long time lurker. I was accepted off of the PWL last week (part-time). Applied in January, Waitlisted in February. No interview, several (sincere) emails/LOCI's.

I submitted two short letters via mail (one prior to and one after being waitlisted), one short email, and a long letter via mail which read more like a "Why Georgetown" essay with status/application updates.

Same here. I sent two one-page letters by email: one after being deferred and one quickly after the initial notice of being waitlisted. The last one I sent was a quick "yes I still want georgetown" email after they updated the waitlisters about the may 9 date.

Good luck everyone, I'll be withdrawing. Got my scholly at wustl increased significantly to the point where GULC isn't worth sticker over it. I hope you all end up getting in!

I wanted to throw this out there for those who have been recently accepted or decided on GULC! Hope to see you all over in the C/O 2017 Forum!

I sent an email to adcom on Friday but didn't get the usual automated receipt reply, and I haven't received a response. Has anyone else had this happen recently?

Yeah I never got confirmation that the LOCI I sent in last week was put into my application file. Although I think I did receive the automated message.

Hmmm...

This is far from scientific, but just scanning Law School Numbers - it looks like the a fair number of reverse splitters seem to be doing well. Maybe GPA might be what they are looking for right now.

Just yesterday I received an email saying the offer letter is in the mail. I was on the PWL and I had a 165 & 3.85.

Congrats to the recent admits...

I have a silly question; does anyone have a ballpark estimate of how big the waitlist actually is?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
