in off the regular wl via mail yesterday! good luck to all those still waiting!

there was one oddity, though. i applied for only pt but the acceptance letter explicitly stated that i was in at the full time division. anyone ever hear of anything like that happening without so much as a probing email from the admissions commission gauging interest in the opposite program you applied for?

I'm hoping the LOCI I overnighted yesterday through fedex express turns back some love...100% cotton paper. Overkill? I don't care. Also, for people who mailed their LOCIs--is that enough, or are you supposed to let them know something is on its way via email?

The LOCI I sent via snail mail was never received (to my knowledge) so I followed up via email with an electronic copy of the letter.

They don't, as far as I know - I called the Admissions office to confirm it had arrived. Very helpful

+1 Just did the same and they were able to confirm that it had been added to my file. Still no date change (meaning that items added to your file are not necessarily represented through a date change, like I previously believed).

Just got placed on the regular WL this morning via e-mail. I'll wait until August because why not?

Checking in, was put on preferred WL in Feb, after an alumni interview in early Dec and a "hold" email in late Dec. >75% LSAT, 25% GPA.
Sent LOCI a few weeks ago and planning on riding this out through summer.

For everyone who sent in a LOCI, did you get any sort of confirmation or e-mail that they received it? I sent mine in about three weeks ago and still haven't heard anything.

They told me they'd add it to my file within a day or so (via email)

I got an auto-response when I sent my LOCI and a personalized email a couple of weeks later after I visited DC.

I received an auto response immediately and an email from Christina a day later.
Did you send it via email? If so, maybe check your outbox to make sure it was sent or send it again?

Just got a waitlist update email from Dean Cornblatt. "Deposits are quite strong" at the moment. He mentioned trying to send another update no later than Monday, May 12th. I'm on the regular waitlist.
