I was admitted like 12/10 with 17,500 in merit scholarships but withdrew - that school and city are way too expensive to not have a full ride.

My stats are 3.75 GPA, and 159 LSAT - well above their 75th percentiles and they only give me 17,500. F that.

Thank you! I am very excited to attend this fall.

Has anyone contacted admissions to attempt to negotiate scholarship? I would really feel comfortable with a few thousand more to make up for the cost of travel every day from work to DC on metro!

I sent my app in close to 2 weeks ago....I got my CAS confirmation from LSAC that the app was sent, but I haven't received an application acknowledgment from the school itself...should I call to see what's up? How long did you take for everyone to receive a "we got your app" email from the school?

::thoughts of seeing my application lost on the interwebz::

I would recommend calling admissions and asking if they have received your application.

I was offered another 5000$ this morning without having to negotiate. Going to try to get 2500$ more after I pay the seat deposit.

This has been such a quiet thread! I think I'm depositing today. I'm pretty excited to have this eight month process behind me.

Did anyone get that email about writing competition for scholarships?
Also, I will be commuting from college park via metro, how much would it cost per month?

Will you need parking at the Metro station at College Park?

The fare is $2.95 each way during peak hours ($2.05 off-peak), and parking would cost $4.50 a day if needed.

Fare:
