Congrats!
I don't think I'm sending an app here, but that's exciting! Did you get any money with your acceptance?

Yes, I've been offered merit-based $23,000/year if I hold a 3.0

Not bad! That stip is a little dangerous though, if you have other offers I'd try to negotiate it away.

23,000 a year is great. What is the annual tuition?

I, too, was admitted today. Although I was not offered any scholarship. How did they send this information to you, snail mail or email or what?

Out of state: $34,478
In-state: $22,746

I am out of state but I have read articles somewhere (which I am having trouble finding now) about how if you sign a 12 month lease that you could possibly get in-state tuition at public schools in NJ, can anybody confirm this in any way or point me to where I can find straight forward info on this?

Congrats!
I was sent an email about 10 minutes after my admit email about the scholarship

I've heard of similar things in other states, or heard things about getting in-state tuition AFTER the first year.
If I were you, I'd talk to the school's financial aid office about it. They're probably best equipped to answer questions like that.

I'll second philly's recommendation to try to get the stip taken away. It can be incredibly difficult to meet the grade standards for these stips, and you don't want to find yourself all of a sudden owing 23K more than you anticipated in your 2nd or 3rd year.

Congratulations!

Same advice as above--be careful about stips! So many students have gone in thinking it's this great thing, only to not meet the requirement and get slammed with tuition in their second year.

I go to Rutgers: If you live in NJ you get in-state tuition, even for your first year students. I know very few people paying out of state tuition for Rutgers.

Contact the financial aid dept. once you sign a 12month lease you will receive in state. 23,00 is awesome! I wonder if they will raise the tuition next year since they are offering 23,000 and not 22,000
