Is anyone else going to the alumni networking reception tonight in NYC? I was planning on it but the snow/cold is making it really hard to imagine getting there...

I was also planning on it as I work downtown but my office got closed today and I live on Long Island so I'll probably bail

I got the same email at about 1 PM. I just checked my status checker and I'm in! Haven't gotten the acceptance email yet though.

Congrats to the admits! That status checker is much more reliable than waiting on emails. Granted, I got my email at 10:30AM CST the day I was admitted.

Applied 1/7, Received 1/8, Complete 1/9, Under Review 1/10. Status emails are helpful, polite and plentiful. Are decisions as speedy as the initial processing, because so far I'm beyond impressed. It's like Los Angeles in Demolition Man, but without all the Stepford creepiness. Be well, Washington & Lee, be well.

You're probably going to wait roughly three weeks.

I applied December 16 and got my decision January 9. Good luck!

Yeah, the initial turn around was really fast. I applied 12/4 heard back on 12/20 I believe (around that time at least).
