Is ANYONE in the 3/21 group still waiting to hear? My status checker still says "In Review"

I'm on the same boat as you! Still on 3/21 review date. Feeling super anxious as the others got waitlisted emails.
If you don't mind, pm me your stats, info on when you applied, whether or not you submitted any LOCI so that we can compare?

Update: Was in the 3/21 group and was wait listed. Already submitted a LOCI.

Anyone assuming there will be ANY wait list movement at Pepp?

Last year there was movement three days before the start of classes (so even after orientation).

I spoke to admissions and they said there has already been movement on the waitlist.

No way they have a full class unless they lowered the median by at least 2. Did they say how many apps they got??

I read online that they finally hit 2,000 apps and their last seat deposit was July 1st, so they must be almost done filling seats by now you'd think

According to one of the admins in casual conversation, they were at more applications in March/April than the previous year.

Not sure. The number of applicants is relevant though because that means they most likely do not need to worry about late additions to the class via the waitlist because they won't want to reduce their LSAT/GPA numbers and add a few extra kids and likely have a larger entering class than the previous (2016) class. Basically: the larger the applicant pool, the higher chance they will not need to add more from the waitlist at the last minute because more people will want to go to Pepperdine over other schools.

totally get that. I guess the wait continues on until sections get assigned, then one can assume the cycle is pretty much over

Best to assume that the cycle is pretty much over. Don't get your hopes up or anything like that at this point.

I'll interpret your statement as "Not looking good, but hang in there you never know." A little positive goodwill towards another person never hurt anyone.

Always wishing the best but I don't like people getting their hopes up, and thus my goodwill is encouraging realism rather than optimism.
