I'm sorry for those in the GULC spreadsheet, but I had to roll it back to a version from November 19. So if you made any updates after that date, you will need to go back in and add them back.

To everyone: Please do not sort the data, as there is a large likelihood of messing something up if you do not know what you are doing. The analytic tab should provide all the info you need. If there is something you would like to see on that tab that is not there, please make a suggestion in that thread and I will add it. I would like to try and keep the data entry tab for entering data only, and use the analytics tab for the analytical piece (as the name would suggest).

I've never had a ticket. But also, I don't think every school requires disclosing speeding tickets, so keep that in mind.

Ha, yea, my undergrad law school adviser told me to disclose speeding tickets for every school, which seemed to me a little over the top, but I did it. Part of why I was asking was wondering if other people had different (and perhaps more reasonable) advice.

Yeah, that's silly advice. TCR is to read each set of questions carefully, and then err on the side of disclosure if it's at all questionable. But when they only ask about felonies/misdemeanors, there's no need to disclose civil infractions.

There are definitely some schools that are exceptions, but disclosing when it's stated and clear that something shouldn't be disclosed seems silly to me.

Obviously, if it were a DUI, or felony reckless driving, that should be disclosed. But "taillight out" offenses probably shouldn't.

I don't know anything about your particular law school adviser, but generally these people are pretty useless.

If I were an admissions officer, I might be interested in moving violations and things like "taillight out." I don't think it will prevent you from being admitted to a state bar, but it might be an indication of what kind of lawyer you will be. If you have repeated infractions for silly things related to driving, you might also be repeatedly dinged with silly things in a litigation, like improper formatting.

I guess my point is: you never know what they might want to see, so you should probably include everything, unless they specifically state otherwise.
