I know the Oklahoma question is off topic, but its funny. Seriously though, anyone applying to University of San Diego or has already heard from them?

Re: USD c/o 2017
About to submit my app today or tomorrow. I just cant decide if I want to ED or not. It's my top choice school as of now but my numbers are very borderline, so ED can only help.
However, I'm taking my LSAT again and want to improve by a handful of points in case I get placed into the regular pool, but I'm worried if I do get in under early decision I am no longer in position to receive aid/better aid even with an improvement in my LSAT.

I know that some schools have set scholarships that you get automatically for being admitted ED, but I can't find much info about USD ED on the website, so I don't know if they do that. The safest thing to do would be to apply RD and hope that your second LSAT score is higher than the first.
Good luck on admission though! Let me know how it goes!

Talking about San Diego here. Those of you who applied, how do you feel about your chances at admission/scholarship money? I applied here on the off chance that I might get some way decent scholarships, but if not its not worth moving back to California to pay close to full price.
Did you guys finally get a status checker? It took about 6 weeks to get mine.

I got my status checker fairly quickly after applying, although I applied back in September when they probably didn't receive as many apps as they are receiving at this point. Keep us posted everyone if you start hearing back!grungy89 wrote:Talking about San Diego here. Those of you who applied, how do you feel about your chances at admission/scholarship money? I sent in my application yesterday and got an email from them today saying I can "check application status" online when but when I go to do that and follow their link it says I require a login/password that I don't have?

I had the SAME EXACT ISSUE. There must be something going on with the school's email service. I kept calling about it every week and they would resend it, and the "mailings" section of the application status page showed they did send it, but they eventually just gave me the info over the phone, I believe. It did take over a month of waiting and calling, but I don't think it was for their lack of trying to send the login info.

Re: USD c/o 2017
does anyone know if I do decide to ED and I'm also retaking the december lsat will USD postpone to look at my application until the december scores are in, or will they judge me in ED based off old LSAT score and if rejected reevaluate with new lsat score under RD?
And if I was looked at only after my december scores are in, would it still be considered binding?
I should probably just ask them but maybe someone knows for sure.

Re: USD c/o 2017
Hey everyone! I applied to USD Regular Decision in the end of October. If you're not getting any confirmations that your app was received after you submitted, just send them an email. I did that, and they fixed it quickly. I think they have some technology problems.
I'm waiting to hear from USD. It's definitely at the top of my list, because I'm from here and I wouldn't mind staying.
