You could easily argue that each of these three is the "better choice" depending on your career goals and where you want to practice law.
It depends on where you want to practice along with whether you want a judicial clerkship and/or big law. If you want the best chances at a judicial clerkship, then ND>>>>WUSTL/UMN. If big law, then ND>WUSTL>>>UMN. If you want to work in MN, then UMN>>>>>>>>>WUSTL/ND; etc. The same might be true for the specific type of law you want to practice. Perhaps one of the schools has a program/area of law you're interested in with better opportunities for externships/networking than the other schools.

Just got my acceptance call!!! Complete 2/5, UR 2/10. 3.9 GPA but LSAT is <<25%. I'm so excited but I also think I might have hallucinated... Did accepted people get an email/status checker change? I want to see it in writing so I know it's real haha.

159/3.2 strong softs/letters but I know I'm in the lower end of the bell curve here and I was a little surprised I did receive an outright denial.

does the quick turn around mean anything? Also has anyone who was waitlisted earlier heard anything from UMN since the initial email? Pretty bummed out, have a full ride at UST and WM but really wanted UMN, I'm assuming schollys off the waitlist are nonexistent.
Check last year's thread. I believe some people got off the WL with significant scholly money (even some full rides). Depending on your numbers, and assuming you're willing to ride out the WL, you could potentially get some good $ if they don't meet their median targets right away. Check me on this though.

Yeah that's right. They don't run out of money and make offers almost completely based on numbers.

Still reeling from the excitement of getting in :). Is there an Admitted Students Facebook page yet?

There definitely is. I'm not sure when or in what they send the link, but you also might be able to locate it by searching.

Just found out I got waitlisted this morning. Semi heartening to see that scholly money is still potentially on the table off the WL. Don't know if my numbers will put me at the top but I guess having a shot is better than nothing.

Call up someone at admissions and tell them I need $! "If you give them money, they will come."

Typical.

2.5 is like dead last in the class.

Another big scholarship for me here, too. Minnesota seems exceedingly generous this cycle.

Hey guys, got in with a full ride??? I'm pleasantly surprised by this - while my LSAT is above the 75th my GPA is sub 3.0. I am seriously beginning to consider this school now but was hoping a knowledgeable admitted student or current student could alleviate some of my concerns about this school. One of my main concerns stems largely from the numerous posts on TLS that say to stay away from this school unless you have connections in Minnesota. I have no problem working in Minnesota after I graduate but will I be essentially dooming myself, coming from the Boston region and having gone to undergrad in the South?

About 60% of the class is usually OOS

idk abt hiring but as far as general inclusiveness, the cities seem welcoming to OOSers

As long as youre not a packers fan, youre fine.

Full-ride here as well. I have some very good connections in the Twin-Cities so it could be very hard to pass up.
