Packet came in the mail today - full tuition! This definitely makes Minnesota a strong contender, but it's the only school I've heard from so far... ASW is in my future for sure!

So how does the status checker works? I've had an updated in review date as of 1/28

Not sure if it applies to all, but I had an in review date for 4 weeks, then another for about 3 weeks, then got an admit call, then the status checker changed to say welcome to class of 2017 the next day. (Or something like that.)Attax wrote:So how does the status checker works? I've had an updated in review date as of 1/28

Scholarship offer arrived on Thursday - 90k over three years with a 2.0 stip.
I've got average numbers (164,3.4), so don't lost hope!

Has anyone had any luck getting their scholarship offer increased?

They straight up told me they don't negotiate during a tour. Theres a reason their scholarship offers are so high in comparison to others.ohhai wrote:Has anyone had any luck getting their scholarship offer increased?

It also appears from last year's thread that they don't budge.ohhai wrote:Has anyone had any luck getting their scholarship offer increased?
At least one person on this thread expressed intent to negotiate their scholarship this year. It will be interesting to hear if they are successful.

Are you a URM or have some other extenuating circumstances? I ask because with 165/3.7 they offered me $60k over three years. Are you in/out of state?

It was similarly quick for me, but I think there has been some variety that tends to correlate with one's numbers.Lebrarian_Booker wrote:A week or two. Took 3 weeks total submitted to acceptance phone call.nyenina wrote:Checking in!

In today via phone call, though the status checker is not updated, so I can't speak for how reliable it is.

Definitely would need $$$$ to make it a real choice. I do have some connections in Minneapolis.
