MN's lack of response to me is really rattling my confidence during this cycle!Nova wrote:(full ride in the mail)berndie90 wrote:In via phone call this morning. 170/3.8

Congrats to everyone who got accepted today!
One question- did you guys notice any change on your status checker before you got a decision?

No - status checker didn't change prior to the call. Shortly after, however, it changed to show the admittance.jannah77 wrote:Congrats to everyone who got accepted today!

Status date change, but no call and nothing beyond "in review."

Just got the call! In! I thought it wasn't gonna happen because of pending LSAT score, but it just came through.

In via phone call today.
PM for stats if you want, but I am a splitter (below 25th GPA/above 75th lsat). I'm dying to get scholarship information, but he said it could take a week for the packet to get to me. The only timeline posted so looks like an 11/22 admit and 11/29 packet! That's too long, UMN

Hey! so according to you, will an applicant with 3.3 GPA and a 168 LSAT and another applicant with a 3.8 GPA and a 163 Lsat be looked at as equals? I would really appreciate your input, thanks!.Nova wrote:As long as USNWR only cares about medians, there is no reason to believe that UMN will stop being very splitter friendly. Thats their game.

I wouldn't necessarily say equals, I think it would really depend on the situation. A high LSAT is rarer than a high GPA though.deebanger wrote:Hey! so according to you, will an applicant with 3.3 GPA and a 168 LSAT and another applicant with a 3.8 GPA and a 163 Lsat be looked at as equals? Above LSAT median > Above GPA median
but
above a 25th & above a median is a good position to be in
a 163/3.8 has a good shot

youll probably get like 100kanyriotgirl wrote:I applied last week, went complete 12/16. I hope I'm not too late, because I think I'd really like to go here. Does anyone have any opinions on whether someone with 169/3.58 and a specific interest in one of their concentrations/clinics (and 2 years work experience in that field) has a reasonable shot at a decent amount of scholarship money this late in the game?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
