So, has anyone tried negotiating for scholly info with BC? If so, what were the experiences and did it work??

I think if you have a comparable school that's offering you more than BC, they would probably match it.doge wrote:So, has anyone tried negotiating for scholly info with BC? If so, what were the experiences and did it work??

I've had really good luck with with BU, it should work as long as BC considers it a peer institution.

I negotiated a few times, basically just using BU/GW offers. I got the feeling both BC and BU do NOT like losing admitted students to the other, so that was very effective. Received multiple "bumps" from both schools. PM me for details

I recently sent out a letter! The general consensus I get is that they do negotiate but it can vary drastically in amount due to a number factors. Either way we will see how it goes!

The negotiation was successful, wish they would have done more but then again who doesn't?! PM for details.

Has there been any WL activity in the recent weeks? Or does anyone have an update on the status of WL decisions?

So, for those who are interested I am having a house warming party for new BC Law students next Saturday on the 9th. I went to BC undergrad and know the area pretty well and am inviting those TLS who are new to the city of Boston and interested in learning more about it to come join! In addition, I have a friend of mine who just finished with his 1L at BC and is going to join with a couple of his friends so we can pepper them about questions, anxieties, ect, about BC Law! PM me for details!
