It's not obvious at all. It took me a while to get to it. But here's the link.....

Speaking of, is it customary to bring a guest to such things? Do people bring their parents often? I'd probably bring a friend if anyone.

Thanks thanks, there's been a thread about bringing guests. People bring parents, but I think the consensus was to try not to because it'll limit you and you don't wanna be that guy that has a parent doing stupid shit lol.

Limit you? In what way? (Well, socially might be an obvious one as you're gonna be limited in what you say to other students.)

About the same but I know it can vary and take much longer.

Thanks! I saw a decision was rendered on the status checker first, and it said it would be sent to the "current address," but I just moved from it and don't trust the USPS to get all my mail forwarded. I thought "NOOOOOOOO," but luckily they email too

Nobody has reported it on LSN. I myself was admitted in December above the 75ths and am waiting for word.

I have stats above 75ths....could be that they're trying to decide on their offers to such people. Judging by LSN, it looks like 80-100,000 is a good ballpark estimate, if those are indeed initial offers and not negotiated offers.

Even weirder that you got into a few peer schools. (Texas is arguably better, no?)

Could be yield protection. I think it's a wee bit harder to convince them you are commited to BC if you aren't from the east coast or can demonstrate ties. Also, not sure this an issue in your case, but BC isn't particularly splitter friendly. Slightly splitter unfriendly in fact.

I think Texas is better, but that is also a bit of bias since that's where I'll be going
