Had a great time at the April 3 ASD! BC may very well be "the one."

Re: Boston College C/O 2017 Applicants Thread (2013-2014)
does anybody have housing advice? I deposited last week and I am trying to stay ahead of the apartment search, as I know the market moves quickly in the Allston/Brighton/Brookline areas.
When do people generally start finding roommates (and how do they generally find them?)

Anyone ever email admissions? How long do they usually take to get back to you?

I'm in a similar situation, and I emailed asking for the information since it's obviously a very important factor. They got back to me the next day with a pretty nice starting offer, so if my anecdote is true more generally, there is still money out there and they respond quickly when asked about it.mydasmarie wrote:in. would it b crass to write asking scholly info before my april11 deadline

Out of curiosity, what did they offer you scholarship wise?EastCoastBias wrote:I'm in a similar situation, and I emailed asking for the information since it's obviously a very important factor. I sent an email asking about scholarship information on 4/3, got an offer on 4/8. Has anybody tried negotiating for more, if so how do did you go about doing so? and were there any actual results?

I'd be surprised if they negotiated, but maybe someone else this cycle has had success. They offered me 25k/yr and I deposited the next day

how did you all find out any scholarship/financial aid information? I received an email with the agora portal info which also indicates this might be the place to check financial aid info. however once signed in I do not see where it might be listed. Am I missing something? Or did others get a separate email?
