Yeah, that's kind of strange considering your numbers. Thankfully I was accepted off the waitlist to my top choice but I still don't appreciate the minimal/no contact we have received from the U of A admissions office. A small school should have ample time to keep the waitlisters updated on current movement.jsanner2 wrote:Haven't heard a word. Odd.
Hope you hear some good news soon. Good luck!

Well, I got accepted outright to Illinois with $$$, so I'm almost certainly going to go there anyway. Still seems a tad strange to not hear from these folks though.

Yeah, it's definitely odd. I visited admissions back in April and they seemed like nice/straightforward people, but who knows. Good luck at Illinois!jsanner2 wrote:Well, I got accepted outright to Illinois with $$$, so I'm almost certainly going to go there anyway. Gotta hustle em, yo! When it comes to waitlists, my theory is YOU'VE gotta get with THEM. They wanna know how serious you are about their school. Get people to call em for ya. Call em yourself. Visit. Gotta hustle on, hustla!

They will not contact you unless you are admitted.

Lol hustling is definitely a part of the game but at the end of the day, it's a numbers game. I sent in 3 LOCI's from April to early June and even visited/talked to admissions but it was to no avail because my numbers are a little outside the average stats for admitted students.NotoriousPAG wrote:Gotta hustle em, yo! I haven't pursued Arizona as strongly as I previously have in recent weeks because I got into my top choice school. With that being said, however, although most law schools claim waitlists aren't ranked, the reality is they are.
