WTF are these people at Fordham doing? Getting on their Waitlist is like joining the mafia - relatively easy to get in but impossible to get out. We are entering the second week of May, folks. Some candidates would rather not throw money away on seat deposits at several institutions. So, get to it and start letting people know one way or another.

I applied late and got waitlisted May 1. Today I spoke, in person, to a woman from admissions. She told me that they usually don't start looking at the wait list until after their final deposit date (June 2). Personally I have been accepted to BLS with a scholarship, but am weighing if it is worth wasting a deposit to wait for an answer from Fordham.

none for me. waitlisted on 3/6, accepted 5/8 with no date changes whatsoever. even earlier in the afternoon my status checker said 3/6 so i dont even think my status changed when i went under review. just from waitlisted directly to accepted. good luck!!

I recently heard the expression "mind f#@%$g". At first I thought it was just a stupid concept that came from god knows where. But once I got placed on Fordham's Waitlist, the whole "mind f#@%$g" idea started to make sense. Are they still accepting applications for admissions? Was the deadline extended or something? Otherwise this slow pace with which they are moving just doesn't make any sense.

It sucks to wait, I know. But, the bulk of their WL admits are usually accepted after the second deposit deadline. Hang in there.
