What are your other options? I'm at $15k/yr scholly and I'm definitely having some struggles justifying it. I feel like I'm going to take $30k/yr at Illinois and call it a day.

10K/yr at GW
20K/yr at University of Houston (in state, so that's 2/3 of the total)
In at USC and BC but no word on scholarships (I'd take BC at 20k/yr and USC at 10k/yr over Fordham at 20k/yr though)

I'm also waiting on Georgetown, Northwestern and Berkeley, all of which I would do at sticker over Fordham.

If you don't mind working in IL I'd say that'd be a better move, especially if you get in state tuition. The employment data is pretty similar.

Negotiate with GW. If you're from NY and they think you're seriously considering it, I would not be surprised if they match or beat it.

I'm not from NY, but you think GW would consider Fordham a serious peer school and up the offer? I guess there's no harm in trying.

In terms of what really matters, Fordy should be ranked T20. Any realistic adcomm should know this (whether or not they choose to accept it/act on it is a different story).

Just got 20k/yr at USC, think that would be better to use?

Yes. USC is ranked higher than GW.

Went complete on 1/21 after submitting 1/09. FINALLY got a date change, 2/21. Is the general consensus an answer is coming soon after a 2nd date change?

It's a long shot- expecting a deny, but still looking forward to finally hearing back.

For those who received merit $ did you find out in your acceptance letter or did they notify you later on? I got my acceptance email and was hoping to receive some $ but the email made no mention of it.

You have to go to the accepted students site and fill out the financial aid form and then email it back to them. Also make sure your FAFSA is done. But within a week I got a response.

That's only for need-based aid. If you received merit aid, you'll get an email about two weeks later with a PDF of your scholly

Haven't heard a peep since 1/29 status update.

Does Fordham typically take a long time on their decisions. I applied at Cornell and Duke at the same time and have heard back from both, and those are traditionally very long admissions processes.

When should I expect to hear about scholarships after being admitted?

Immediately/at most within the week. I haven't heard of too many cases of it taking much longer than that.

Any acceptance/waitlist/denial stats specifically for the part-time program out there?

Anybody think Fordham will bump me up a little from 20k/yr using 29k per from Emory and 40k per from w&l? I'm from NY so I feel like they're gonna turn me down thinking I wanna be in NYC no matter what, but I would totally take the Emory offer if Fordy doesn't budge

Does anyone think I'll hear back before April 1, 2014? It's approaching in less than a month and if I don't hear back by then, I'll be forced to pay my seat at another school. :( It's so discouraging how schools are taking their sweet time this year...

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
