I applied PT. I got my status checker e-mail on 3/4 and my last status date change is 3/12. LSAT 170 and GPA 3.87... do they give money for PT? A lot of schools don't which I didn't really know while applying (I did PT so I could work and earn money to pay back loans for undergrad...might have backfired if I'll end up with twice as many in the end)

Yes, they do give scholarships for PT. I am not sure the maximum they give, but I know of people who've gotten 10-15K a year.Hotfries26 wrote:I applied PT. Does anyone know what their financial aid looks like per salary? Say someone who makes 40k, no parental money vs someone who makes nothing but their single parent makes 60k? Just trying to gather a picture here...

Was accepted 3/7 and received scholarship info 3/10. Wrote them a letter negotiating (begging for more money) and got my scholarship increased to 35k per year. Looks like negotiating really works! Very happy to finally know I'll be going to one of my top choices.

Do you mind posting your stats? What was your original $ amount? Also, how long did it take them to get back to you? I recently sent in a negotiation email and the Dean responded that she forwarded it along.ConorA wrote:Was accepted 3/7 and received scholarship info 3/10. No problem! 166/3.8, pretty excellent softs. Originally 25k which I actually wouldn't have been able to afford. It really seems like they don't like being played so I told them if they matched my highest peer offer (40k) I would deposit immediately but that all I actually needed to make attending viable was 32k. I emailed the financial aid office to negotiate. They got back to me in a week (this morning actually). Hope that helped!

I am waitlisted as will. I haven't heard anything. Waitlisted 1/8 and have sent a LOCI every month sense. I am hoping to start hearing in April. Fordham is my top choice.kellyb4 wrote:Anyone wait listed have a date change yet?

Withdrew today.
Had 10k per year, so hopefully my spot and money goes to someone else here!

I applied PT and got more than $15k. Don't be afraid to ask for a scholarship if they don't give you one and you need it.Kuledj wrote:Yes, they do give scholarships for PT. All of the other PT schools in NYC area give big $$$, some with full tuiton and fees. While they do not have the same ranking as Fordham, there is no reason to think with your stats you could not get a degree for close to nothing.

Accepted!
No scholarship info in the offer. But it sounds like people receive that a few days later. Good luck to those still waiting!

My date finally changed yesterday to 3/26 from not having changed since 2/18. My final documents were submitted on the 11th but I think the 18th was my first complete date? Does this mean I'll be hearing soon?
I've applied to 6 schools and heard from everyone else! I really want to go to Fordham this is so stressful!!

Has anyone from the wait-list heard anything back from admissions? Or do they generally wait until 1st deposits?

Have heard different things but it seems like they start reviewing the wait list now. Was told by an admissions officer that they start reviewing it at the application deadline and make decisions at the deposit deadlines.JurisDoll wrote:Has anyone from the wait-list heard anything back from admissions? Thanks My status date changed but I haven't heard from them. I was hoping to hear back before having to give my 1st deposit at BC, but I guess that won't be happening.kellyb4 wrote:Have heard different things but it seems like they start reviewing the wait list now.
