I've started scholarship negotiation. Will update once I hear something.

Accepted with $15k per year. I must admit, I was expecting more. 165/3.65. I don't think I'll be accepting the offer, but I wish they had given me more for leverage.

Same with a 168. Hint: you can negotiate.

For y'all who got scholarships, what do your stips look like? Mine is that I need to maintain a 2.75, which seems totally reasonable, but when they said where that would put me in the class, the percentages seemed really high, like the top 75-85th percentile. With baylors reputation as a competitive cutthroat school, doesn't that seem really high? What is the likely hood of actually keeping that?

I think you might be looking at it, well, the other way around. It's not percentile, it's just percent. So, they don't mean you have to be in the top 15-25%. They mean you'll lose it if you're in the bottom 15-25%.

If the percentage is top 85%, that means you can't be in the bottom 15%. I'd say that's a pretty reasonable stip...

Yeah, I think he thought he had to be in the "85th percentile"
Which would be be unreasonable lol, but that's not what it is :)

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to negotiate with Baylor for more $$? I got in with a decent sized scholarship but even a slight bump would make it a much more viable option.

Thank you! It would be very much appreciated. Their offer is already very generous so I'm trying to figure out the best way to ask for a bit more.

Got in today without $, but considering that I applied with 157 and 3.47, I just wanted to see if I would get in. I'm much more hung up on getting into Houston, since I have in-state already.

I don't have the list of dinners which was included in my admissions packet, so could someone do me a favor and tell me how we are supposed to RSVP for the dinner? Is there an email or phone number we contact?

Thank you :)
