Welp, didn't move forward on the Woodruff. Whatever, I was tired of their admissions game anyway. To the ding bar!

Re: Emory Class of 2017 (2013-2014 Cycle)
I applied and was accepted via accelerated decision back in September and just found out I'm getting $66k. Emory says all AD applicants are promised a scholarship and it's nice to know that they mean a REAL scholarship. It would be pretty easy for them to give us a couple thousand and use the rest to persuade students with huge numbers, but $66k is equal to about half tuition. Very awesome. Another indication that I made the right call.
By the way, 3.27 GPA and 166 LSAT, non-URM, not especially amazing softs.

Got my acceptance today! Merit aid info was included as well. I live within the one-day shipping, so I imagine it was post-marked yesterday, but I'm not certain b/c it's at my permanent address.
LSAT > 75th
GPA 25th-50th
PM for more details
Here's the USPS delivery-time map from Emory's zip code.
ETA: I was out of town yesterday. I meant to say post-marked Friday.

So looks like they're going out USPS but earlier packets were going out via Fed-Ex?
Hoping for good news soon as I'm within a 5-hour drive of ATL...

Re: Emory Class of 2017 (2013-2014 Cycle)
Hi TLS readers – this is Ethan Rosenzweig, the dean of Admission and Financial Aid at Emory Law. I appreciate your indulging my posting information from time-to-time as we enter the decision-phase of the application cycle. I wanted to pass along a few notes:
Woodruff Notifications: At this point, we have notified all Woodruff Fellowship nominees of their status. If you were nominated and haven’t heard from us, please send a note to jdadmission(a)emory.edu.
Application Deadline: Our application deadline is quickly approaching, and congrats to those that completed the February LSAT. We do accept scores from this test date so long as an application is received by our deadline. If you have any questions, just send us an email to jdadmission(a)emory.edu.
Application Decisions: It appears that our first wave of admission and scholarship decisions is beginning to arrive via United States Postal Service. International admittees will receive notification via email. I want to stress that there are several rounds of decisions; indeed, I am delivering the second round of acceptances to our mailhouse for processing on Monday.
This year, to support Emory’s environmental initiatives, we redesigned our welcome book. Basically, this means the admission packet is not as bulky. We didn’t remove any information, but the paper and cover are more efficient. I’m looking forward to your feedback via jdadmission(a)emory.edu. On one hand, I know everyone enjoys receiving “stuff”, but I am also aware that folks’ primary sources for information are electronic resources. As such, our paper materials are now designed to supplement our robust website. We are trying to find the right balance in our paper mailings, and I am eager to hear your thoughts.
Thanks again for entertaining my posts. This time of year is so invigorating because there are so many exciting programs and opportunities to share with our admittees. I can’t wait to begin meeting everyone.

It's not only reassuring to see the Dean taking time out to fill us in on everything while we wait... But look at that posting time. Pretty impressive Dean Rosenzweig, pretty impressive.
Thanks again, I think I speak for all of us here when I say we appreciate the input.

Do we know in what order the decisions are mailed out? As in the one's with the highest stats/scholarship money are delivered first, or those who went complete first...or do y'all think it's just random? Just trying to anticipate what round I'd be in...although if it's a ding I assume those come way later...who knows.

Would any of the Woodruff finalists mind sharing their stats? I'm curious to know what they were looking for.
