Just to clarify...you were notified you weren't a finalist when?

I may need to check my junk mail.

Did anyone receive this email "Emory Law: Job Opportunities & External Scholarships for new 1Ls"? Is this email for admitted students or for all applicants? I did not receive any admission package but I still receive this email.

Thank you!

I got my package 2 days ago and got that email. It'd be weird if you weren't admitted based on the language "These additional financial aid opportunities are great opportunities to supplement your merit scholarship" Maybe your package didn't get there yet?

Thank you! Is it a good idea to respond back to Dean Rosenzweig?

I just got the same email too and haven't received a formal admissions package either. The email has a link to sign up for visiting students day though, so I am assuming I got in! So confused!

The Dean seems really approachable. If you want to know right away (as I would), I'm sure you could send a polite brief message just clarifying that you are in :)

I'm sure it's just a mail back-up issue. Atlanta was non-functional because of snow last week, then it was president's day weekend.

I got that email on my commute home (and was also confused), and my admissions package was waiting in my mailbox. Very happy with the $81k total. Complete 1/10.

Is the consensus still that Emory does not negotiate on scholarships? Mine was pretty low compared to some other offers.

This no status checker thing doesn't work for me! I only submitted beginning of feb but Emory is one of my only ones left to hear from. Even if its a rejection it would be nice to hear backkkk.

Patience my friend. You just submitted. We all still have a while to go in this process.

Let's say right below their 75% for LSAT/GPA and they offered about a half tuition scholarship.

I've received 75-100% scholarship from three peer schools.

Of course I also received two 35% offers from two tier 2 schools. I have no idea how this whole process works
