if it makes you feel any better I am in the same boat. In review since 1/23 with absolutely no change, and getting concerned because I have to put deposits down for other schools by 4/1. not sure if calling and asking for an expected decision date would do any good but it does concern me that accepted students weekend is this week and I haven't heard anything. hang in there!

Got into Temple with 30k a year. I'm hoping I get a similar offer from UMD. I'm getting nervous since I have to make a decision for some schools by April 1st.

Congrats! If you don't mind my asking, what date did your application go into review? Trying to gauge when I might finally get a decision. My app went into review 1/23 and haven't heard anything since. Not even a date change

so i mean.. mine went to decision made on 3/21, still no email..? If I am rejected, does that mean the rejects don't even get notified via email? that's pretty sad...

Has anyone who's been accepted get an email a couple days after your status checker was updated? Or is it pretty clear that if you don't get an email the date your decision is made, that it's probably bad news. My decision was made 3/21 but haven't received an email yet and I'm trying to decide if I should keep the faith or expect a rejection letter by the end of the week haha

Letters are going out today

On LSN it was a bunch of waitlists.

My email was sent the same day my decision was made. I actually got the email before I saw the decision had been made on the tracker (I had checked it the day before, and it was still showing as "In Review"). So it seems that they at least emailed acceptances the same day the status tracker changed....

Hi there!

Did you get confirmation from the university that they were sending letters? Is it definitely all wait list? I'm still in review, but just trying to get an idea of what to expect. Thanks!

Is anyone else worried about the heavy estimated cost of attendance at ~$58,000 and has found a way to rationalize it in their head? Even with full tuition paid for, you're pushing 6 figures.

They said "all decisions are done by mail...we do not email anything nor can we tell you anything over the phone." Obviously that is not true.

I would say look for an email.

Anyone get any mail today...I did not.

I received 3 emails in a row when I was accepted--"Congrats," "Welcome," and "Important Information." So I would say they may prefer to postmark decisions, but with seat deposit deadlines approaching, emailed out acceptances to prevent people from committing to other schools or excluding Maryland from their considerations bc they hadn't heard back yet. At least that is what I would do if I were in the admissions office this time of year...

This is true.

Guess if you didnt get any email, that you are WL/Rejected.
