I was also admitted mid Jan, I submitted the FAFSA a couple weeks ago, and got a $15k/yr offer via mail last week. Have you submitted the FAFSA? I think some schools send out scholarship info only if that's been submitted.

Just checked, I submitted the FAFSA late Jan. Definitely thought I would get something from them.

ETA: Oh wait you got it via mail? I live abroad, maybe it's still coming...

Could someone please explain this SURF site to me? I got two emails about it today: first telling me to register, second telling me I received something and need to log on to view it. I'm on it and under any awards area, nothing is listed....am I missing something or are they probably still changing it? (only got the email 30 mins ago)

same thing happened to me today. I can't access my award on the site. So frustrating

Also did you have an interview for the scholly like they said in early feb? I never did...

No kidding!

A few days ago I visited Wake Forest and a student told me that a couple of weeks ago they got two inches of snow and closed the school for a week. Maryland is not that bad. They'll probably be open tomorrow, but they are definitely closed today.

FYI for everyone who was having trouble with the website:

They have added 2014-2015, so you can view your award.

I will say that my award information was limited to approved loans, so no merit aid. Hopefully merit aid will follow....

Same, just checked. It's a grant too. Lol I have so much more from similar ranked schools. Kind of sad, I'm really into UMB...

About how long after being admitted should I wait to hear scholarship info? I know they offer an interview for any merit based awards & I was accepted last week...I'd really love to go to Maryland but it comes down to finances for me and I'd be ecstatic if they offered me any money at all! What is the time table admitted students have waited between acceptance and scholly info?

I'm a little concerned about my application.. it looks admitted students weekend is this weekend. Does this mean by this time the rest of us are waitlisted or worse, rejected? But UMD's deadline is actually April 1. I submitted 1/1, under review since 2/8.
