oh well lucky i got a score high enough to divert my attention to other apps..
My last review update is 12/16.

I don't want to look anywhere else. I live in Houston and want to stay in Houston. It would be nice to get a little more notice to get a place to live

I bet they are waiting to see the number December LSAT takers. If it is low, which I suspect it to be, people will start getting notified quickly. If it is really bad, they may tie scholarships to seat deposits.

Does anyone know when they typically start letting people know of scholarships?

Just checked my status on the uh website. Says 12/20 now, but I did not receive an email notification for some reason. I think this is the first status change for me.

Got an unsolicited fee waiver today so I'll probably apply! This is after two unsuccessful solicitations.

Think their applicant pool isn't quite what they wanted it to be?

That's what I'm guessing. Hoping Minnesota follows suit. It seems that fee waivers are almost a requirement to get applications in for all but the most seriously interested applicants (of those around/above median numbers, that is).

oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy..

btw, with applicant pools being smaller (and fewer good scores to go around), what do you all think about the possibility of higher scholarship amounts?

I guess I got in? Haven't heard anything about being accepted yet, but got an invite to the admitted students facebook page today.

Edit: Status checker was updated late last night. Still no email, but admitted at least.

I was in review 12/20 until my admit which was updated yesterday. Not sure how they work, some people who applied later than me got in before I did.

My email went to my spam folder, so I'd check there.

Going to call tomorrow morning. Houston and FSU are my last two schools and I would like to get started on making a decision.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
