Just stopping by to reiterate how difficult it is to get residency in az. Don't bank on that

I've only been in review since 3/24, from what I'm seeing the turn around has been long. But how long do you think it will take since I have deposits coming up april 1st?

I do have another question for you guys. What are the advantages of attending law school in California vs. ASU in terms of taking/passing the California bar? Or am I not in the right forum for this?

What's this issue with AZ residency? I've read everything from it's extremely easy/pretty cut and dry and others who swear that it's one of the worst states re: residency..

I think it stems from the requirement that you prove financial independence the year before you attend law school. Some students can easily satisfy this and others can't, but it's not something that you can easily prepare for like getting an AZ driver's license or license plate.onlyunholy wrote:What's this issue with AZ residency? Ah, thank you so much. I'm old -- and therefore do not have this problem.Savage13 wrote:I think it stems from the requirement that you prove financial independence the year before you attend law school. I just RSVP'd to the ASD on Friday. Do you guys think it will have low attendance since so many people haven't gotten decisions yet? How many of you are still waiting to hear back?

My acceptance package arrived today. Scholarship was 30k/20k/10k with good standing. Puts it right in the middle of the schools I am picking between. Too bad AZ isn't 1500 miles closer to FL so I could do a visit.

Been in review since 1/23 and trying to make a decision on school, should I email admissions to see when I might get a decision?

I was so sure my packet was going to come today before I left to visit UF. Oh well if ASU offers me anything close to UF im heading to ASU.klondike5 wrote:My acceptance package arrived today.
