Re: UWisconsin-Madison Applicants c/o 2017 (2013-2014 cycle)
I really like Madison. I've only been here since June, so I obviously haven't experienced a Wisconsin winter, but I think the city is great, i love the people and the culture, and the school seems like a pretty big community which is nice. The big thing I've been thinking about is could i imagine doing it long term. But I really like Wisconsin's value.
Just tailing off that, what exactly would constitute instate tuition qualification? As I said I've been here since June so when Fall 2014 would roll around if I were still here it'd be over a year. Would that constitute in-state tuition?

Has anyone seen any major movement? I applied on 9/2 and it finally went complete on 10/30. I emailed admissions about it and they said they were having some issues with residency stuff.
I also received an email with a scholarship form and today, I received an email about my CAS file being complete.

I don't know exactly how it is going
This year but This is my third year applying and the first two years were very very slow. I would expect the same this year. Very slow movement.

Yeah, I think for those of us who are applying ED we are looking primarily at the first two weeks of December... possibly the last week of November.....the wait continuesChriz wrote:torresash14 wrote:Has anyone seen any major movement? Were any of you able to get a merit-based fee waiver?

Checking in.
GPA: median, LSAT: probably 75-85%
Went complete last week. So, we'll see! Good luck everyone.
Madison offered me an app fee waiver - is that what your asking about? I never applied for need based.mx23250 wrote:Were any of you able to get a merit-based fee waiver?

People with admit numbers will likely hear late next week, Thursday or Friday, if their past trends continue this year.Chriz wrote:Oh man if they aren't even through the ED's yet imagine how long it will be for us regular decision people.

Good... I have been waiting so long for this. I was rejected twice and now retook the LSAT and I should be a lock. I think since I applied twice before there is no threat of yield protection or anything so I should get in!buckythebadger wrote:People with admit numbers will likely hear late next week, Thursday or Friday, if their past trends continue this year.Chriz wrote:Oh man if they aren't even through the ED's yet imagine how long it will be for us regular decision people.
