Did they offer you any $$ in the acceptance? or do we have to wait for that? And yeah, when did you apply?futurelawstudent14 wrote:I was accepted a couple weeks ago. Above median LSAT, above 75% gpa

Wow... just realized the significance of this:
"Decisions are typically reached within 6-8 weeks from the time your application goes under review. "
6 Weeks from Dec. 6 is Jan 17. Ouch.

I applied right when the app opened (if I remember right that was Sept) & I was in via email & status checker. All they've sent was a single sheet acceptance letter through snail mail, no word on scholarships yet.ashley82929 wrote:Did they offer you any $$ in the acceptance? or do we have to wait for that? I submitted in late October following one of their preview days. And yes I think that you are correct in assuming that Under Review is different than Awaiting Review.

Six weeks after submitting, I'm still 'awaiting review.' Considering some of you went "under review" before a decision, I expect to be waiting awhile. Sheesh

It surprises me that Moritz doesn't feel compelled to move quicker than top schools. But I guess they really don't view the T14 as their competition.jk148706 wrote:Six weeks after submitting, I'm still 'awaiting review.' Yeah. But in a state like Ohio, you have to think there are plenty of applicants with GPA/LSAT combos good enough for the t14. And I'd think Moritz would want to try to attract those applicants quickly rather than wait for them to receive t14 acceptances and lose interest in OSU. But hey, what do I know about law school admissions.

I am a current student at Moritz (2L) and would be willing to answer any questions you might have. Good luck to everyone on their applications.

10%-15% got Midwest big law or some sort of decent paying mid-law out of OCI, which is pretty standard compared to past years. A bunch of people are waiting to hear back on prospects for the summer, but that is typical. A few people have secured spots in Chicago or NYC biglaw, but probably talking 4-6 people. Overall, pretty standard from what I understand for OSU over the last 4-5 years.lawschool22 wrote: Any sense of how OCI went?

Dear OSU,
I've been complete and ready for review since 11/6. Really odd. You are the only school I haven't had any movement on and you are one of my top picks in case my username wasn't a give away. Having been accepted to a couple competitive schools, I can't say your slow movement is working to your advantage.
Sincerely,
A confused Ohio resident.
