Just got in off the WL w/ decent scholarship. Committed to WUSTL right now, but we'll see if I can get the scholarship increased to something a little more competitive. What have your experiences been with negotiating?

Unfortunately, Vanderbilt has a policy of not negotiating financial assistance.

Great first post.

OP, the above is true; however, they have been known to negotiate off the WL. That said, this is pretty late in the game so I doubt you'll have much luck negotiating.

I've tried extensively to negotiate -- including with higher offers from t14s -- to no avail. I even retook the LSAT, improved my score, and got no bump. So I don't think they negotiate much, but it's worth a shot.

Good luck!

ETA: Still, I'm attending and really excited. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions.
Wait wut higher offers from other T14s why are you picking Vandy?!

Anyone hear anything these past two days? Safe to assume the cycle here is done?
