Has USC sent rejection letters yet? If your status checker says decision finalized and you haven't received an email then does that mean you got rejected?

In on 1/31. First school I've heard back from. Lived in LA for 1.5 years after college, don't know how I feel about studying/working in LA but it's nice to get the first acceptance. USC is a great school.
How real is the Trojan network? Better than UCLA's network?

The Frank Rothman Selection Committee will select semi-finalist for live video interviews in early February or March. Those who advance to the final round of interviews will be invited on an all-expense paid campus visit the week of March 10-13, 2014.mirroroferised7 wrote:In yesterday via email.

In the LA area, more real than any other school there. Far from meaning you can sit back and get hooked up though.

Re: USC c/o 2017 Applicants Thread (2013-2014)
Got in yesterday as well (seems like a trend). I submitted my app 12/31 (last day for the waiver), was on 2nd read for about a week.
lsat=75, gpa>75
I know the rothman scholarships haven't gone out yet but has anyone heard back on normal scholarships yet? I hear USC is notoriously slow at sending these out.

I don't understand why y'all waited 24hrs to let us know the good news rather than live-posting the acceptences so we could all freakout/obsessively refresh our emails collectively =/

According to LSN they accepted someone with a 166 and 3.55 GPA. Last year with those stats you were either waitlisted or rejected at around this time, obviously later on some people got off the waitlist. It will open up a whole new group of people for the class of 2017 at USC.

Those numbers are both greater than the 25ths. It's not like that is a "whole new group" of people ...zman wrote:According to LSN they accepted someone with a 166 and 3.55 GPA. Just in case anyone is in a similar position and interested. I was accepted on friday and I went under second review in december. My stats are 163/4.1. So something like GPA>75th, LSAT<25th

What email address sent the acceptance email? My status says decision finalized but I can't find an email so was going to search by sender to see if maybe I missed the email.

It's from the admissions email...Check your spam. I typically get USCs emails, but that one went to my spam for some reason.hweigel wrote:What email address sent the acceptance email?
