I'm pretty sure only the Rothman scholar gets a full ride and the next best thing is $50k a year.

I know someone who got a full ride. She's not a Rothman scholar, so it can happen.

SOmeone on a different forum mentioned they are giving out 10 full rides and according to LSN quite a few have been offered 150,000 which is near full ride.

It was a hard choice but I just withdrew from SC this past week, freeing up $100K+ for you hopeful attendees. Good luck and fight on!

Anyone here already submit a deposit at UCLA and still trying to decide? If so, what's the deciding factor?

This place is DEAD, you probably won't get much in terms of a responce.

I just did it the other day. You can do as many takes as you want, which is good because sometimes there can be errors with the taping process. You can also take as long as you want to read and think about the interview questions before you record your video. It took me two tries to get what I wanted to say under three minutes, which is the max time for the video.

For everyone else doing the video interviews you should watch your whole interview after you record it. Sometimes the first few seconds of my video would be cut off even though I had already started recording.

Goodluck to all the other waitlisters!!!!

I used a mac and recorded the video in photo booth. Then I simply uploaded it onto live link.

I was able to take as many takes as I wanted this way and bypassed entirely the question of whether retakes are possible on the WL video website.

Worked for me.

since it is deposit day, they should know more clearly how much waitlist activity will be needed.

Thoughts?

Any movement off the waitlist yet? Around this time last year people were already getting off.
