For those of you who've been accepted, what was your turnaround and how many date changes did you have?

I submitted 1/13, went complete 1/18, first complete date change 1/23, and then nothing.

Submitted 2/27, complete 3/5 (i think I don't remember 100%), first date change 3/10, 3/13 finalized, 3/14 admission email.

The good news for you is that they have surely sent out a lot of dings and waitlists since the time you applied, and you haven't been part of that. Means they are strongly considering you. Good luck

but if no one has heard, maybe it's not. We know there is one final round. Perhaps it's just later than we expected...I have my doubts myself

I just called. Their admission staff said if you don't hear anything via email by the end of the week then you didn't get a merit-scholorship. Also after this week if you would like to be reconsidered, you should send a formal letter.

Just to be clear -- by the end of this week, not last week, correct?

I would wait until Friday to send it. They seem to be telling everyone who attempts to solicit scholarship money that they have not finished distributing merit money, and you should wait to ask for reconsideration until the last round of offers go out.

good idea to have it done now. I'm drafting all of my scholarship negotiation emails even though I'm not sending them out quite yet. Allows you to look over them and feel comfortable

Hey Everyone! Received my admissions decision about a week ago (March 12, submitted app March 1). My stats weren't anything special: Feb LSAT 2014 score of 166, GPA 3.25 (UChicago, Economics). I haven't heard back from any of my other schools (Gtown, NYU, Columbia, Stanford) so I think GWU is where I'll be going. I'm a Lebanese American who's lived and worked in Istanbul and I'm excited to join this community! Is there a facebook group we can all join?

But isn't there a risk of them running out of money? ._.

You realize that schools (for the most part) are not actually paying students any money, they are simply offering to discount what they are charging you. If you as an accepted student opt not to go, it is the school that is losing money, not you.
