I know the two programs have the same curriculum/professors, and the stats between the two groups are amalgamated for law school rankings. But does the part-time program prefer a type of applicant that the full-time one does not, or vice versa?
Ostensibly, they're equally difficult to be admitted to. However, my understanding is that if you apply to the FT program, you can switch your admission to the PT program without any issues/re-evaluation, but the reverse does not also hold - your application will be re-evaluated to switch from PT to FT. Not sure how that relationship changes after you start taking classes, except that you have to petition to transfer from the PT to the FT program.
I don't think the PT program's admission review process is any different, substantively, from the FT program's.
