Hi everyone! Will be applying to GWU within the next few days (maybe even tonight) and am wondering how you lot handled the 300 word optional statement. I feel like I basically implied why I'm so cool in my personal statement but the option of this essay (pun intended) leaves me wondering if there is something to be had. Has anyone treated this like a diversity statement? Would that work?

Nice. Now to figure out a way to slash my standard DS in half while retaining its substance and flow...

Will there be scholarship info in those? Does GWU only do a financial package post-FAFSA?

Nevermind. Sorry. Read through the thread. Looks like people are being told early February.

Officially went in review today, for ED. How many of you guys who were accepted were ED? I'm curious if I will have to wait till the end of the month to find out.

I submitted the week before Thanksgiving, had a date change to 12/10, and have had no movement since. No idea what is taking so long or why I am hearing nothing. Ugh, GWU, not cool...
