So I still haven't received my decision letter, but I know that I got in because they sent me the login info for the admitted students page this morning! I hope they gave me a decent scholarship!

No, but I have some softs that may make me comparable to URM. Daughter of first gen immigrant from a Caribbean island (which makes me Indian) and first gen college student.

Saw that decision was rendered and I had not received anything for a while. Called admissions office and nice lady told me I was in. She sent me a PDF of the letter that had been sent: 75k over 3 years with no stips besides good academic standing. Also included was a nice note from the assistant dean congratualting me and referencing my personal statement. IU looks like a great school, and the personal note was a very nice touch.

Rumor has it if your decision is made you can call admissions and they'll tell you the decision. Just in case you don't want to wait for a week or more.cactusflower wrote:Were there no other "Decision Made" status changes today?

Re: IU Maurer c/o 2017 (2013-2014 applicants)
Just curious if any of the admits received an email indicating scholarship eligibility prior to applying. Mine stated that my application would receive "expedited review". I've only been complete for 2 weeks--so it's not as if I expect a decision already (or even soon)--I'm just wondering if anyone else out there got the expedited review spiel, and how long the actual turnaround was on the application. I'm hoping this means maybe 3-4 weeks instead of 6? Who knows

I didn't. But I received a "Decision Made" update less than a week after going complete.hopeful 0L wrote:Just curious if any of the admits received an email indicating scholarship eligibility prior to applying. I have an interview scheduled for the 22nd in Chicago. Can anyone who previously interviewed give me some details on how this might play out?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
